In my past career life I was an Administrative Assistant. From marketing to Visa applications, I did it all. The role was very loosely defined, which proved to be excellent preparation for nursing! The person who I was assisting lived in a different city and the learning curve was steep. As time progressed, social media, as well as establishing organizational systems and processes, helped me to be successful. When I entered the healthcare field, I noticed that many professionals did not know how to properly leverage these tools to their benefit, so I began to teach them.
